When I first joined Versatile Media, I had the opportunity to support several Ziva muscle simulation projects under the guidance of my supervisor, Geordie.
At the time, both Ziva and Maya rigging were completely new areas for me. Thanks to Geordie’s patient guidance, I gradually learned the details of the full workflow step by step. My responsibilities included organizing project files, tuning simulation parameters, painting weights, writing scripts to support batch simulation and file management, and developing tools to submit simulation jobs to AWS cloud machines through Deadline.
