In LED virtual production, some productions need to place individual green tracking markers on the LED wall so the VFX team can use them for camera tracking or post-production reference.
To make this process faster and more flexible, I developed an iPad-based tool for adding and managing green markers during production.
Each marker had its own ID number, making it easier for on-set crew members to communicate which marker needed to be placed, adjusted, or removed. Operators could also customize each marker’s color and shape based on production needs.
With this tool, operators could quickly create, position, update, and remove markers from the iPad interface, making it easier to respond to on-set requests without interrupting the main production workflow.
